JOIN ALLEGRO...

Allegro resumes its choir classes for students in grades 2-8 in September.  For
information on how to sign up your son or daughter, read below:

Grades 2-3 (in 2010-2011) -- No audition is necessary to join Vivace, our singing
class for students entering grades 2-3.  Simply email
office@allegroca.org for
registration information.  Registrations must be made no later than August 31,
2010.  Students are accepted on a "first come, first served" basis as long as there
is room in the class.  Tuition for Vivace is only $215 for the entire season (Sept-
May).  The class meets in Rosemount on Thursday evenings.

Grades 4-6 (in 2010-2011) -- Students entering grades 4-6 need to audition for the
Prima Voce choir.  Email Kari at
kdouma@allegroca.org to set up an audition
time.  The audition consists of basic vocalizations, range check, tonal memory
and the performance of "My Country 'Tis of Thee," verse one.

download the song.  No other piece of music needs to be prepared.  Students
who are selected for this choir may choose to attend one of two sites: Prima
Voce East rehearses in Rosemount on Thursday evenings; Prima Voce West meets
in Savage on Tuesday evenings.  The two classes combine as one choir for
concerts.  Tuition for Prima Voce is $275 for the entire season (Sept-May).

Grades 7-8 (in 2010-2011) -- Students entering grades 7-8 need to audition for the
Bel Canto choir.  Email Greg at

time.  The audition consists of basic vocalizations, range check, tonal memory
and the performance of "My Country 'Tis of Thee," verse one.

(Sept-May).

Singers' tuition covers membership in the Academy for the entire calendar year
(Sept.-May) and covers director and accompanist fees, space rental, a T-shirt, a
folder with music and educational materials and access to rehearsal sound files.
There are a limited number of need-based scholarships available.  Families with
more than one child in Allegro qualify for a Family Benefit discount.  For more
